A great way to customize Ikea furniture is by removing the default hardware and replacing it with something more unique. It's an easy hack that can transform a standard piece of flat-pack furniture into a custom piece.
For this project, square Lindefallet knobs were used to replace the default round knobs that came with the Ikea Hemnes dresser. The square profile of the hardware nicely compliments the shape of the drawers. By installing quality solid brass knobs, the dresser takes on the look of a higher-end custom piece at a fraction of the cost.
